So how does physics gravity car work ? We all know that it moves due to the force created by the conversion of gravitational potential energy into mechanical energy, but how to do that ? What is the process to convert Gravitational Potential energy into mechanical energy ?
The answers to all of your questions is the structure and design of the physics gravity car. Gravity Car is a motor-less and driver-less car. So there is no one who is actually controlling it or riding it. You will see that gravity is the one who is controlling the speed, acceleration and direction of the force of gravity car.
In design of the Gravity car you will notice that weight on the string which is attached through the pulley and attached to the car. Gravity on weight creates force forward and this is the reason car moves forward, but in the start, you need to provide some force by yourself and afterwards gravity will take care of that. Due to opposing forces such as friction, it will not move more forward and eventually will slow down.
How to make a gravity car ?
Materials Required: Disc (for tires), cardboard or wood, string, pulley and a weight.
Step 1: Create a simple model car as shown in the figure below.

Step 2: Attach a pulley with your base.
Step 3: Attach string at one side of the car and put weight on a string going through pulley. As shown in Figure:
